RUTH A. HENDRIX ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY
FOR ROGERS COUNTY TREASURER

Ruth A. Hendrix officially announces her candidacy for the office of Rogers County Treasurer.

Hendrix, a member of a pioneer Cherokee family was born and educated in Rogers County. She has 30+ years experience as a licensed Abstractor and Title Insurance Agent with the same company. She is the Owner/Broker of Hendrix Real Estate since 1975.

The reason I am running for this office is that after having worked closely with county government for 30+ years, I understand the working of the Rogers County Treasurer’s office and see where improvements can be made. I will strive to continually improve the office and will commit myself and my staff to respectfully serve the people of Rogers County in a courteous and professional manner. I will have an open door policy and be available to the public at all times, said Hendrix.

She is an active volunteer for the American Heart Association. She has served as State Secretary/Treasurer for the Oklahoma Inventors Congress for 19 years. She and her husband, Randle are active members of the First Baptist Church in Claremore. She is the cook for a mission team to Nicaragua and 2006 will be her 18th trip.

She has been married to Randle for 47 years and is the mother of 2 sons, Randy and Sandy.
